A team of talented Los Angeles injury lawyers explain that when anyone who is in the prime of their life has it taken away from them thru no fault of their own it can be extremely tragic The situation leaves behind shattered lives and broken families who are left to pick up the pieces. Wrongful death doesn't just happen to 'normal ' folk, so with this under consideration let's have a look at how stars have been mixed up in court battles for wrongful death.

Nancy Grace

In 2006 CNN ex lawyer and talk show host Nancy Grace was caught right in the middle of a manslaughter claim after being sued by the family of a twenty-one year old Florida ma called Melinda Ducket. The twenty-one year old shot herself the day after she appeared on television show that Nancy Grace was hosting. In the show Grace had challenged Ducket about the location of her missing boy Trenton, insinuating she had killed him.

The family of Ms Ducket claimed that because she had been confronted in this way, it placed undue mental stress on her, w had eventually lead her to commit suicide. She took her very own life just hours before the pre taped program was scheduled to be aired. In 2010 Grace settled out of court for $200,000, pronouncing that she would set up a trust fund devoted to finding the boy. If Trenton was not found, or was confirmed to be dead, then the money would go to the missing people investigation helpline. An experienced Los Angeles injury attorney would see that their customer got the full and fair compensation that they deserve and would probably have not taken the settlement figure. Instead they would fight this type of case all the way.

OJ Simpson

Noted as the 'trial of the century ' OJ Simpson was found not guilty of killing ex-wife Nicole Brown and her pal Ron Goldman in 1995, but in 1997 the family of Goldman sued for manslaughter in a civil court of law, to which the judge awarded $33.5 million greenbacks in compensation.

Though Simpson challenged this in court and was successful, his life caught right up with him in 2008 when he was sentenced to 33 years imprisonment for perturbed robbery with a fire arm and abducting offenses.
